This Year's Model Updates:

The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette has been fully redesigned. Highlights include a new name (officially, it's the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray), more angular-looking styling, improved interior quality, more power and new technology features. For now, only the base coupe and convertible are available, with the Z06 expected for next year.

Pros:
  • Relentless V8 power
  • Impressive handling and braking
  • Nifty rev-match manual transmission.
  • Roomy cargo area
  • Upgraded interior with new electronic features

  • Not what I expected - 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

The paint has the worst orange peel I have ever seen. The panels dont fit properly. How can this be GMs flagship car? The tires cant be driven in temps below 30 degrees. What the heck is going on over @ GM ? Sold the piece of junk while it still was in hot demand.

We purchased this car 11/25/2013. What fun to drive. 3LT, Dual roof, Aluminum Chrome Wheels, Automatic, Multi-mode exhaust, Carbon Fiber Interior, et. al. Cyber Gray Metallic. Great car a real head rotator. The sharpest looking Corvette since 1963! The comfort level is amazing for a Corvette. We were planning on purchasing a MB SLK 55 AMG, but this car offered a lot more for less. The sophistication of this car is mind boggling, and the fun-to-drive factor is off the chart. This car is a quantum leap forward on the evolutionary scale of the Corvette. We are planning some back road tours in this car. the car is not perfect, but for the money it is outstanding!

My stingray just turned 10,000 miles and I have enjoyed every mile. The car is beautiful and great fun to drive. It is a head turner. The navigation and media center are simple to operate and very efficient. The car is fast and handles great. It also holds 2 sets of golf clubs. What more could you ask for.

I have had a major failure of the power train (torque tube) at 2000 miles and 6500 miles. It is a beautiful and fun car when it isnt in the shop.

  • More GM problems - 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

I have owned 4 Corvettes and was looking forward to receiving my 2014 convertible this summer. After 2 weeks the car went in to replace the air conditioner compressor. Got it back and 3 weeks later it went in to replace the torque tube. The dealer has had it for 2 1/2 weeks and 3 days ago called me to say they didnt know how to fix it after having gotten a new torque tube from Bowling Green. The dealer then said they had called upon the GM technical folks to help them figure out the problem. Add this to GMs safety and quality failures. The simple problem is that they made the torque tube out of steel instead of aluminum and it transfers too much heat. Cant fix stupid!!!
